Furniture for a pop-up gallery / cafe in Shoreditch District. Organised by The Finnish Institute in London, the cafe worked as a platform to promote a Finnish nonprofit agency called ‘Pertti’s Choice’ which supports cultural diversity and creates new opportunities for marginal groups in career development, employment and community engagement, as well as enables international access to Finnish outsider art. The agency was founded by the members of a punk band ‘Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät’ in 2018.

The furniture is made of 40mm chip board that were split into sections along cracked lines, optimised to make use of the whole board creating minimal waste. Pieces were then slotted together avoiding any mechanical fixings.
