Switch it on. 2016.
The project evolved from a concept of revealing the hidden qualities of everyday objects. Taking a light bulb as an example, it is designed to be fitted into a socket and hid with a shade. Conversely the lamp emphasises bulb’s functionality, aesthetics and engineering. Utilizing the principle of positive and negative connections as a switch creates a surprising interaction between the lamp and the user.
Exhibited in Milan Design Week 2016. In collaboration with Pasquale Totaro.
