Woodpecker. 2014.

The objective of the project was to identify the multiple needs of carrying in an urban landscape. The design process was driven by trial and error: making and testing physical mock-ups were leading the decision making.

The concept developed around an idea of being able to change the capacity of the back bag easily. The back bag has a strong frame that can be used for carrying bigger items such as packages. The components are made of strong materials and are designed in a way that they can be changed or repaired easily therefore prolonging the life cycle of the whole product.

Exhibited in Helsinki Design Week 2014.
