Onni Aho is a Finnish-born designer and maker specialising in furniture and interior design. His aim is to craft designs that are deliberate and purposeful, infusing everyday objects and spaces with a sense of timelessness and simplicity. Onni’s affinity for woodworking runs deep, imbuing his creations with an unmistakable Nordic essence.
His creative methodology merges skilled craftsmanship, intuitive insight, and experimentation with materials and shapes, resulting in a rich portfolio that reflects his keen interest in form and expression, as well as his attention to detail.
A graduate of the MA in Design Products program at the Royal College of Art in London, Onni has a diverse background in design and architecture. While Helsinki remains his home base, he is collaborating internationally with brands, studios, and private clients across Finland, Germany, Italy, Norway, the UK, and the US.
